Irene R. Gottlieb
Irene has been a member of the Repercussion Group since October 2020. She brings extensive experience as an advocate and activist for athletes and their families, specific to brain health and the repercussion from sub-concussive injury causing Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy. She was forced to step away from a career as Vice President and National Sales Advisor in USA, specializing in successful innovative marketing compliance and technology efforts for the financial industry. She has held officer positions as a significant contributor with PNC, IBM, First Data Corporation, Chase, and Citicorp.
Irene continues to support the success of several high-profile events and media projects as Producer and Writer, working in tandem with Studios and Networks primarily on nonfiction family content, supporting not-for-profit companies to lift charitable giving and sponsor opportunities.
She founded Garnet Media Group, now GMG Limited, a New Zealand company in good standing, having aligned with established Hollywood veterans to meet the demands of tomorrow. Irene has a foothold internationally, creating viable cross-culture collaboration on television and feature products primarily centered on sport and music. She leverages long-standing relationships in the U.S., Netherlands, and China with C Level Executives to develop, produce and place new products for television and film as a creator, packaging agent, writer, and producer.
Irene is a Board Member of the Anne Frank Center USA and a standing member of the National Broadcasters Club and International Media Roundtable. She has worked alongside State officials as an Advisory Board Member for the Sarasota County Film Commission and Office of Economic Development, a Women’s Forum Leader at After the Impact an NFL foundation, US National Committee for UN Women, which supports gender equity and the prevention of violence against women throughout the world, Soaring Star Media (China), Statement Music (Uganda) and Plateau Music (Nashville). In 2017, Irene was appointed to the Advisory Board of State College of Florida, Diversity/Film Studies, and Graphic Design.
Irene is a mom, published author and an award-winning photographer now residing full time in New Zealand with her husband, former All Black, Geoff Old.
